Kristen Soltis-Tyler, MD, MPH, DipABLM is a board-certified Family Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine physician.  When investigating how to help patients change toward health, she discovered the field of Health and Wellness Coaching and knew it fit what she wanted to offer her clients. 

She recently retired from the Air Force after over 21 years of military service.  Life experiences led her to discover her passion for bringing a different form of wellness to children and adults through mind-body practices.

Kristen’s unique practice, combining years of experience in healthcare with a calm, affirming presence, has supported many clients in their journey toward wellness.  She helps her clients discover and develop new ways of being in the world through her extensive training in coaching, yoga, meditation and mindful self-compassion. 

She holds a deep understanding of the military community and prioritized additional training in trauma sensitive yoga and mindfulness.  As a military spouse, daughter and veteran, she is sensitive to women’s experiences in this community. 

Training includes:

  • Master of Arts in Health and Wellness Coaching, NBC-HWC

  • 500-hour registered yoga teacher (RYT)

  • 95-hour registered children’s yoga teacher (RCYT)

  • Certified Integrative Restoration meditation (iRest®) teacher

  • Trained Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) teacher

  • Trained in the Mindful Schools Curriculum
